Kerry & Jay - 29/7/17

I've known Kerry for a few years now so I jumped at the chance to photograph her wedding, she's always a fun person to be with and I knew her wedding would be a wonderful occasion to be a part of. I'd only met Jay a couple of times but I knew how thrilled they were to get married and how much they dote on each other.

The day started with Kerry and the 3 boys at the family home. She was unbelievably calm considering how much planning and hard work she'd put into the big day. She enjoyed having her hair and make-up done and squealed with joy when she saw herself in the mirror!

Her Mum was on hand to help everyone get ready for the big day, the boys looked adorable in their matching suits!

Once Kerry was in her gorgeous dress, it was time to leave the house for the ceremony.

We soon arrived at the Registry Office where the excitement was contagious!

The guests were ready and waiting, including Jay's Dad dressed as a chimney sweep for good luck.

Jay and his groomsmen were chatting nervously in the ceremony room, they didn't have long to wait before Kerry made her grand entrance.

The ceremony was simple and full of laughter, soon the happy couple were declared to be man and wife - such a joyous moment!

We left the Registry Office and had the obligatory confetti moment on the steps.

The next venue was Thame Football Club for the Reception. We were really lucky to be given access to the Stadium itself and we had fun taking some unique photos there.

I don't know many brides who'd be happy to run around a football pitch in their wedding dress but Kerry was most definitely up for it!

The room itself looked amazing and was filled with lots of little details that Kerry had organised herself.

My favourite item was the fantastic LOVE sign, we had to get a photo in it!

After the delicious meal, the happy couple cut the cake and did their first dance together.

I then put my camera away and enjoyed the evening as a guest myself, a new experience for me.

A huge thank you to Kerry, Jay and their family for an amazing day, it was a joy to be part of it.
