Kelly & Lee 23/12/16

I'd been looking forward to this particular wedding since I first met the happy couple at their engagement session, we had a really good time and I knew their wedding would be amazing.

Being so close to Christmas, the wedding had a gorgeous deep red theme which looked beautiful next to the venue's (Stirrups Hotel near Bracknell) seasonal decorations.

Kelly was understandably nervous as she was getting ready but she looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress with lace details and dark red stones.

The ceremony was lovely and there was so much joy in the room!

It was important to the couple that their loved ones who had passed on were a part of their big day and they did this in lots of touching ways.

Storm Barbara put an end to our plans for taking group photos outside and I'm very grateful to the staff of the hotel for rearranging the bar area so that we could take them there instead.

Special mention goes also to Kelly's Uncle who made the amazing cake and the fantastic magician who was arranged as a surprise by Kelly's sister, Michelle.

Georgia's 18th birthday party - 28/10/16

I was hired by Georgia's Dad to take photos at her 18th birthday party. They'd hired a marquee in the grounds of a local cricket club and it looked beautiful with strings of fairy lights across the roof.

The birthday girl herself was gorgeous in her floor-length dress.

There was lots of singing and dancing...

... and even some emotional speeches.

Cassie & family 20/10/16

Cassie was one of the winners of the competition I recently ran on my Facebook page (along with Tasha), we have a lot of mutual friends so it was great to finally meet her and her lovely family.

It was quite a cold day at Coombe Hill but we still had lots of fun. Miss A was a bit reluctant at first but her Daddy soon made her smile!

As we worked our way along the path, Miss A became much more confident and strode ahead.

 

We got a few shots by the monument before we got rather cold and moved back into the shelter of the woodland.

 Lovely Master R was such a good-natured little chap and we got some lovely smiles!

I had a lot of fun with this gorgeous family and hope they like their photos as much as I do!

Laura & Mark 1/10/16

I love weddings and it was a joy to photograph Laura and Mark on their special day. I've known Laura for a couple of years (I did a maternity shoot during her last pregnancy) and it was wonderful to share the day with them.









Despite the weather forecast for torrential rain, the sun shone at the Church.












Mark and his groomsmen looked very smart in their navy blue suits.
















There was quite a crowd outside when Laura arrived.


















She looked absolutely stunning in her elegantly simple dress and headpiece.

The ceremony was joyful, with smiles and laughter throughout.











 Laura & Mark's children were an integral part of things and were a real highlight of the event!

 After the ceremony, we moved to the nearby Lambert Hotel for the reception. Laura and Mark made their grand entrance down a red carpet which was an amazing moment.

The Hotel is famous for its garden swing and the bridesmaids loved it!

We managed to get a shot of everyone before the promised storms arrived and everyone rushed inside for the party to continue.

Tasha & family - 25/9/16

Last Sunday I headed to Coombe Hill to meet up with Tasha and her family. She'd been the lucky winner of a competition I'd held on my Fb page and was the bridesmaid for Emma & Kevin in April so it was lovely to see her again. It was especially lovely to meet her husband and children for the first time - yes, twin girls! Tasha's parents also joined us for the session and we managed to get a couple of photos with them too.

The twins were a lot of fun and such characters, it's clear how loved they are by the whole family!

It had been raining on and off for the hours before and there were some heavy clouds across the valley but we were amazingly fortunate with the weather, the sun shone all through the session and there wasn't a single drop of rain. We even saw a gorgeous rainbow!

A big thank you to Tasha and her family for a fun session, I hope the girls have a lovely first birthday next month.

Emma & family 17/9/16

Earlier this year, Emma won the 300 likes competition I was running over on my Facebook page. She chose the option of a family session and I was lucky enough to meet her and her gorgeous children this past weekend.

Emma has 2 daughters and a baby son. Her 2 girls are the sweetest things and totally in love with their baby brother!

It's no secret that I love to photograph babies and this little guy was such a happy little soul!
