Helen and family 30/4/17

This family session was my biggest challenge yet with 25 family members including 5 little ones (some more reluctant than others!). It was a very special gathering for Helen as her brother was visiting from overseas and it was a great opportunity to have some photographs of everyone together.

The cousins clearly loved seeing each other again and had lots of fun chasing each other around the garden.

I was particularly impressed how good Miss S was with her younger cousins, she was so patient and gentle.

Oh those babies were cute, so so cute! While I might not want any more of my own, I'm more than happy to gaze adoringly at other people's and these 2 were absolutely gorgeous. Those eyes, that hair!

All in all, it was a really fun session and we got some great photos, including this rather funny outtake.

A big thank you to Helen and her wider family for sharing some of their precious family time with me, it was a pleasure.

Ladies' Fashion Event - 24/3/17

This was a fun event bringing the clothes of Cabi to the ladies of Thame as a fundraising opportunity for 2 of the local Primary schools.

It was also a great chance for some of the Mums to get pampered for once and they seemed to really enjoy the chance to relax.

The models did a brilliant job strutting their stuff up and down the catwalk, they looked really confident (even in those heels!). The quick outfit changes were impressive too :)

It was a fun evening for a great cause, thanks to all involved in organising it!

Louise & family 5th March 2017

Louise and I have been friends for quite a while now, she's also been one of my best clients as I've taken lots of photos of her extended family over the last few years. This time, she had the family together to celebrate lots of significant birthdays and it was a fun gathering. We'd originally planned to take the photos outside but the weather meant that we changed to an indoor session using my mobile studio equipment.

Everyone was very patient with the change in arrangements and the interruption to their celebrations, the children certainly enjoyed the opportunity to make funny faces when they could!

A big thank you to everyone for such a fun time, here's hoping the sun will shine next time!

Anne & family 11/2/17

This was my 2nd session with the gorgeous Miss E and Master N, the previous session had been over a year ago and I was really looking forward to seeing them again.

It's amazing how much difference there was in a year, from 1-year-olds just starting to find their way in the world...

... to confident, chatty 2-year-olds (although Miss E is still very much the dominant character!)

I love relaxed family sessions; allowing young children to play with their toys and be themselves leads to gorgeous natural photographs.

Thanks again to Anne, Jon, Miss E & Master N for lots of fun!

Kelly & Lee 23/12/16

I'd been looking forward to this particular wedding since I first met the happy couple at their engagement session, we had a really good time and I knew their wedding would be amazing.

Being so close to Christmas, the wedding had a gorgeous deep red theme which looked beautiful next to the venue's (Stirrups Hotel near Bracknell) seasonal decorations.

Kelly was understandably nervous as she was getting ready but she looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress with lace details and dark red stones.

The ceremony was lovely and there was so much joy in the room!

It was important to the couple that their loved ones who had passed on were a part of their big day and they did this in lots of touching ways.

Storm Barbara put an end to our plans for taking group photos outside and I'm very grateful to the staff of the hotel for rearranging the bar area so that we could take them there instead.

Special mention goes also to Kelly's Uncle who made the amazing cake and the fantastic magician who was arranged as a surprise by Kelly's sister, Michelle.

A big thank you and congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Witts, thank you for sharing your day with me!

Georgia's 18th birthday party - 28/10/16

I was hired by Georgia's Dad to take photos at her 18th birthday party. They'd hired a marquee in the grounds of a local cricket club and it looked beautiful with strings of fairy lights across the roof.

The birthday girl herself was gorgeous in her floor-length dress.

There was lots of singing and dancing...

... and even some emotional speeches.

A very happy 18th birthday, Georgia, I hope you had a wonderful party!
