Amy & Nick's wedding 26th October 2018

I finished editing the photos from Amy & Nick's wedding yesterday and I'm still smiling. Honestly, this couple and their young family are ADORABLE and you could feel how much they love each other. There were so many smiles and giggles (and a few happy tears) during the ceremony and I was really touched by the emotions of the day.

I met Nick outside the Registry Office and he was obviously excited but quite nervous too! The children soon joined us and I grabbed a couple of photos in the few moments of calm. The boys looked adorable and I was quickly smitten with baby I <3

Nick looked really nervous as Amy prepared to make her entrance but he couldn't stop the huge smile spreading across his face. It was very moving to see Amy's Dad walking her down the aisle despite his health issues.

When Amy got to the front, Nick pulled her in for the biggest bear hug! I don't think there was a dry eye in the house.

The ceremony itself was beautifully simple with family taking centre stage.

Amy and Nick were soon the new Mr & Mrs Doherty and shared the most romantic first kiss. This photo is one of my favourites that I've ever taken!

With the ceremony over, the happy couple left the Registry Office to be greeted by a cloud of bubbles - so much fun!

We then had the group photos on the village green nearby, it was quite an experience thanks to the gardeners and workmen in the churchyard immediately behind. The noise from their machinery and their hi-vis clothing was a bit of a problem until they realised what we were trying to do and took a break while we finished. We were very grateful!

A huge thank you to Amy, Nick and their family and friends. It was a wonderful wedding and I send you best wishes for health and happiness in your new lives together.

Sarah x
